Same Difference is an ongoing manga written and illustrated by Hiiragi Nozomu. First released in 2011, it has been serialized in Gush (Kaiousha). Volume 1 includes the one-shot Mega-dere, volume 2 features Maji desu., Endoo-kun nara Shikataganai and volume 3 contains Omee wa Chotto Oni sugiru.

Synopsis

From their offices high in a corporate skyscraper, alpha males Ozaki and Tsuburaya make all the girls swoon. Ozaki's known for his irresistible pheromones, while Tsuburaya's a noble, worldly genius. But when these rivals end up in bed together, who will prove to be top dog? It's seme versus seme—and much more than pride's on the line!

Characters

Ozaki

After graduating from a prestigious university, Ozaki claimed an untold number of awards in the world of sports. With his physique considered gorgeous, Ozaki is known as a "super pheromone man", who is commented to get women pregnant simply by locking eyes with them. With women offering him email addresses and requesting he look this way, Ozaki replies he is sorry and in a hurry before speaking that if they hang around him too much then they will wind up pregnant. Speaking to Tsuburaya first, Ozaki has heard rumors of his beauty, but is shocked to see they did him no justice. Thinking he can understand now what all those women mean when they call him an unattainable god, Osaki adds that Tsuburaya has the strongest defence in the company. Placing his phone number into Tsuburaya's jacket pocket, Ozaki declares he cannot leave any beautiful stone unturned. Rejecting the label that he is gay, Ozaki states he just loves all things beautiful, then guesses he would be bi. Giving apologies, speaking that now he can be Tsuburaya's first, Ozaki moves to kiss him. Alarmed at falling over, Ozaki resolves to take him down. Wondering why he is getting so worked up about this, Ozaki considers whether he is serious about liking Tsuburaya. Stood before him, Ozaki thinks how Tsuburaya ignored his hot body. Evidently having had a handcuff to the bed prepared, with it placed on he tells Tsuburaya to take him if he can. Announcing it looks like he is going to be on top after all, Ozaki continues to say that is what Tsuburaya gets for looking down on him, before adding to not underestimate people. Gloating that it is not like he is into him anyway, Ozaki questions who would ever sleep with Tsuburaya. Thanking women for their concern, Ozaki remembers the experience with Tsuburaya and has never been so humiliated. With his pheromones he will bring him down. Cuddling Tsuburaya and stating he loves his stress, Ozaki remarks he never lets him see this side of him. Caressing Tsuburaya and thinking he will have no option but to recognize his power, after kissing him, Ozaki considers whether he is laughing at him on the inside. Unable to stand Tsuburaya's attitude, Osaki thinks if he wants revenge so be it. With sales done for the day, Ozaki helpfully offers to do overtime to give a colleague a hand. Where it also keeps his mind off other matters, Ozaki contemplates how at this age he has almost never been alone, yet now he cannot have it he wants it even more. Telling himself to forget Tsuburaya for now, Ozaki feels his army of women is awesome and he should let them comfort him, where he does enjoy himself around his colleagues. Where he cannot get his mind off Tsuburaya, suddenly hugging his portly and elderly colleague, Ozaki thinks good his erection went away.

Tsuburaya

Having travelled the globe from a young age, there is no language Tsuburaya cannot speak. Considered prince-like, Tsuburaya is well-versed in the piano, violin, and even most any instrument he has never even heard of. With a hesitant woman before him who is struggling to find her words, Tsuburaya proceeds to kiss her on the hand. Returning Ozaki's complimentary dialogue, Tsuburaya states his popularity exceeds rumor and to color him impressed. Where the feeling is mutual, Tsuburaya has heard that a woman's social standing will shoot up just by being seen with Ozaki in private. Propositioned by him, after stating unfortunately he has no interest in men, Tsuburaya then moves to avoid his kiss then whistle loudly in Tsuburaya's ear. Deeming Ozaki adorable as he leans over him, Tsuburaya comments with him down on his back in a dirty toilet, with a face so red, it turns him on. Seeing him again, Tsuburaya remarks if he were a woman he would be convinced Ozaki were in love with him. In a bedroom together, Tsuburaya tells Ozaki to stop standing around before questioning why he does not come and sit beside him. Able to position himself on top of Ozaki after being lunged upon, finding it uncouth that he would try to toss someone down by force, Tsuburaya comments it is an offense to his morals. Caressing Ozaki's face, Tsuburaya mentions how this sort of thing requires a certain mood. Handcuffed and with Ozaki over him, Tsuburaya uses his leg on his private parts. Giving his apologies, Tsuburaya questions whether he broke it. Affirming he will be fine, Tsuburaya advises Ozaki just cool it with some water. Having uncuffed himself, Tsuburaya asks whether he should call an ambulance for Ozaki. Addressing how in their company that Ozaki is dubbed as a sex symbol or whatever, Tsuburaya voices that him holding it in, looking like he is about to cry is really adorable. Although alarmed at being caught about to urinate in the lavatory, Tsuburaya then gloats that he is not even hard. Laughing whether Ozaki is the one who got hard, Tsuburaya speaks how apparently Ozaki wants him to fall in love. Adding that devouring him so childishly, Tsuburaya speaks it is more like it is Osaki is the one who is in love with him. Suggesting they meet up again, when Osaki agrees with the president to work on the 9pm time they had arranged, Tsuburaya seizes then kisses Osaki to remind him of where he should really be at that time.

Yuko

One of three woman who are greatly infatuated with Ozaki.

Natsumi

Along with Yuko and Nozomi there is interest in why Ozaki did not come yesterday.

Nozomi

Asking if Ozaki is fine, Nozomi among others semi-regularly fawn over him.

President

Mentioning whether Ozaki is not knocked out for the week yet, the president laughs if he has an erection it will hurt, and he could even bleed. Walking with Tsuburaya he politely waves to Ozaki while passing him. From his expression, he asks Ozaki what happened.

Ozaki's Colleague

Asking what happened and how some work is for accounting, he states it is just like Ozaki and he is great when his help is offered.

Doctor

Telling Ozaki he is fine, the doctor says for him to do it whenever he wants. Not listening to what Ozaki is saying regarding how if he were a woman he would get pregnant today, he comments how Ozaki is a fighter to be active in the first hours of the morning.

Story

Twin towers of the main branch of a major corporation situated in the heart of the city are populated with only the best of the best. Each tower is led by a top elite member, tower B has Ozaki, and tower A has Tsuburaya. Where they have never met before, Ozaki and Tsuburaya simply pass one another by without realizing it. Women who have gathered excitedly note how two Hagure metals (an extremely rare creature in the Dragon Quest games) are together at once. Where the women around are besotted, Ozaki and Tsuburaya each have a different approach to them.

Seeing one another in the lavatory, they each lavish praise on one another's standing. When Tsuburaya takes his leave, Ozaki passes his phone number. Although Tsuburaya says he has no interest in men, Ozaki moves to kiss him. After loudly whistling in his ear, Ozaki falls back and is startled, which Tsuburaya finds cute. As he showers, Ozaki wonders if he is serious about Tsuburaya. Finding each other again, Ozaki suggests how about tonight the two lady-killers that they are find a way to enjoy themselves together. Judging it lovely, Tsuburaya replies he has not been propositioned like that in a while.

Together in a bedroom, Tsuburaya tells Ozaki to come to him. While Ozaki proceeds to pounce on him, Tsuburaya has manoeuvred himself on top. After Tsuburaya finds himself handcuffed to the bed, Ozaki tells Tsuburaya to take him if he can. Feeling that he is going to be on top now, Ozaki says for Tsuburaya to say something. Both blushing, one shouts how they are going to be on top.^[1]

At the office, Tsuburaya in on the phone and says Ozaki should probably leave now. Where multiple women appear, it is commented how Ozaki didn't come yesterday. After assuring Yuko, along with Natsumi, and Nozomi that he is fine, the three women fall over with glee. It is recalled how when Ozaki was over him in the bedroom, his private parts were kicked by the handcuffed Tsuburaya. Before departing, Tsuburaya commented how he found Osaki's state to be adorable. While Ozaki will not forget this humiliation, he finds and cuddles Tsuburaya in the lavatory while he is about to urinate. After Osaki kisses Tsuburaya, there is a question of who got a boner and also who is in love. Where Tsuburaya suggests they meet up again next week at 9pm, just them, in the same place as last night, Ozaki feels now he is talking. While they pass one another in the corridor, thoughts are that each is the top and they truly believe that.

Around colleagues, Ozaki tries to keep his mind off of Tsuburaya. As Tsuburaya observes him, it is wondered who Ozaki is married to. A colleague remarks that Ozaki must be like Tsuburaya in that his job is his life. Invited out for drinks by a colleague who is visiting a client, Ozaki hears that Tsuburaya was supposed to come, but apparently he has something that cannot be put off at 9 in the evening. When Ozaki agrees and the colleague heads on his way, he is pulled towards Tsuburaya and smooched.^[2]
